Choosing to complete a University postgraduate program is without doubt one of the most significant decisions a student can make.  Further, to complete that qualification at an English speaking university opens global doors in the areas of science, business, medicine, research, education, aviation and information technology.  Also, the world-wide contacts made when completing a postgraduate degree are an invaluable source of life time business contacts.

Postgraduate programs in English speaking universities are invariably well-funded both by government and by business and as a result world-class research occurs, allowing international students to be part of that process.

Masters programs and Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

These programs, which frequently involve work experience, are usually of 2 or 4 semester’s duration, are designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in their chosen fields and can be completed by course work or research or a combination of both.

Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) programs

These programs which epitomize the ultimate in a formal education, cater for a wide variety of individual interests including the areas of Business, Finance, Engineering, Education, Health Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Science, IT etc, and can be completed in the following manners, or by negotiation:

  • The completion of a Professional Doctorate program whereby experienced professionals return to study via a combination of research and course work.
  • The completion of PHD Postgraduate Coursework (usually of 3 years duration) whereby students are supervised during a structured research project that is relevant to their area of interest. 

It is expected that at the completion of a PHD the student has significantly contributed to their discipline’s body of knowledge.
